At the time ASUS made the last BIOS update, only TPM 1.2 was supported. I checked ASUS’ other Z87 based boards and determined that the SABRETOOTH-Z87 board received a newer bios than it’s 2103 (3 years later), which is BIOS 2302, among changes
With that said, if you really want a TPM module, you may be able to broaden your search a bit, as I believe any TPM module with a compatible pinout should work (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this), your pinout can be seen here: Sabertooth Z87 TPM
