Learn how to easily use a Galaxy Emulator Skin in Android Studio. The Galaxy Emulator Skin gives developers and testers, the closest possible look and feel to a Samsung Galaxy device.
Launch Android Studio and open the Device Manager by going to Tools > Device Manager. If you have an existing virtual device, click Edit from the menu and select the downloaded emulator skin. Otherwise, click + in Device Manager to create a new device.
Custom Android Virtual Device (AVD) skins. Place the directory of the desired skin (s) in a rememberable location, such as a custom directory within the default Android Studio skins directory: Create/edit an AVD and click "Show Advanced Settings"
use '-skin ' to specify an emulator skin, each skin corresponds to the visual appearance of a given device, including buttons and keyboards, and is stored as subdirectory of the skin root directory (see '-help-skindir')
