Android Disable Gemini on Home Button Long Press

Find your default Assistant App setting, and set it to none: Tap on the text that says Device Assistant App with Google under it.

A long press on the Home button opens the old Google Assistant and not Gemini as expected. How to fix? Gemini works fine when opened via the Gemini app.
