Using Artificial Light for Food Photography

If you're looking to transition from natural to artificial lighting for your food photography, this post is for you.

In today's post, I'm going to show you how easy it is to create a side lit and a back lit look, using just one light and soft box.

Both photos are taken with a main strobe side lighting the dish at about a 45 degree angle, and a secondary strobe to fill in the shadows at a 90 degree angle.
