Help creating a batch job

The batch file you create is a .ffs_batch file. You create it by opening FFS and defining the sync you want to perform.

Run a batch/cmd file that starts your sync jobs in sequence, waiting for the previous job to end before starting the next sync job (via the start command).

For Freefilesync the software don't have any function to schedule run the task, it is based on save the task to a batch file and using task scheduler to run it.

I have just downloaded ffs and want to update a folder that is on my C:drive to a folder called ffs on my E: drive.

You can individually call the different batch-files that define the individual syncs. This creates multiple instances of FFS to run in parallel.

The FreeFileSync batch job can be started by double-clicking on the ffs_batch file or it can be set up in your operating system's scheduler.
