MapChecking • Crowd counting tool This tool helps you estimate and fact-check the maximum number of people standing in a given area.

「MapChecking」是以Google Map為基底，使用者圈選欲計算的區域後，系統自動算出面積，使用者接著可點選人群密度參數，最低為每平方公尺0.1人，之後以每平方公尺0.05人為一單位增加，最高可選到每平方公尺5人。

MapChecking是什麼？ 造勢或遊行活動很難現場數人頭、確認人數，因此在計算活動人數時，只能側面推估，而最常使用的方式是用面積來推算。

這個 MapChecking 工具用的是 Google 地圖，使用的方式非常簡單，你先定位到你想要計算人數的場地，然後直接在地圖上點一下就會框線，把你想要計算人數的範圍框起來就可以了。

這時候，我們可以利用「MapChecking」這個工具，只要是 Google Map 找得到的地點，就能根據面積和人群密度估算出現場人數喔！
