get OpenVPN working with Android & OPNsense | basic setup

With the new VPNService of Android API level 14+ (Ice Cream Sandwich) it is possible to create a VPN service that does not need root access.

This lesson illustrates how to configure Android OpenVPN client to use certificate authentication. Prerequisites Internet connectivity and Google account.

1. Import .ovpn profile into your Android device. One method could be by sending the certificate to an e-mail which can be accessed from Android device itself.
