As with all games, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire have a variety of Pokémon that can only be obtained within one game.

As far as version differences go: I think sapph has the better team character wise but ruby has the better plot related team.

Omega Ruby has Groudon, while Alpha Sapphire has Kyogre. You can only get the legendary that comes with the game unless you trade or buy the other game.

Like all the paired games in the Pokémon series, Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire each include Pokémon that cannot be obtained in the alternate version.
