Windows 8 風格有人愛有人不愛，我只能說大家欣賞的角度不同，不過越來越多軟體選擇像這種風格靠航，代表接受度也慢慢的提升，MetroSidebar 是一款桌面的側欄工具列，能夠同時展現時間、鬧鐘、電腦資訊、搜尋、音樂、相簿、電源、天氣等資訊，算是一款多功能的工具列，在介面上也是我目前最滿意的一款唷！
這側欄工具列支援翻頁的功能，所以當工具過多時，可以放置到第二頁，或是將關機等按鈕放置到第二頁，避免誤按情況發生。
右下角有一個設定按鈕，點選左鍵選 Add tiles 來新增新的資訊欄位。
可以新增的有鬧鐘、電池資訊、搜尋列、時鐘、快捷列、音樂播放器、圖片輪播、電源、使用者資訊與天氣，這些項目也非常足夠使用了，目前這款軟體還在測試版本，相信未來會有支援更多的使用。
當處於新增模式時，側欄也會楚瑜可以編輯的狀態，可以調整上下位置、刪除與設定詳細的內容。
每個項目可以更改動態磚的顏色，不同資訊也有不同的調整內容：
