How to change directory iconcolor of specific folder in Sublime Text 3?

In my case, a single plugin or another solution to create individual background color per file would be enough. Example: Folder > File > Color.

I've got a simple suggestion: Currently, if a folder contains a changed file, or if a file is changed, there is a small light blue circle next to it.

Do you have your files saved with a .py extension? Otherwise you can set the syntax highlighting using View > Syntax .

Is it possible to have different colors for different panes? I use “Open folder” to open a project in a separate pane.

After I opened my project, the folder bar wouldnt sync with the color theme. Ive tried changing the color scheme but it doesnt work for any of them.

There are 3 icon types available for folders: collapsed, expanded and symlink. Take a look at file_system_entry in https://www.sublimetext.com/docs/themes.html

I think the file (mostly xml format) you really want is this one 'Color Scheme - Default.sublime-package' under: C:-Program Files-Sublime Text 3-Packages.

This is not currently possible in Sublime. There is no configurable API to allow any modification to how the side bar is visualized.

i suggest that you could color the folders and files. so that you could mark them as relelvant, and they could stand out for easy distinction. the colors ...

Pull down under the Terminal menu in the upper left to Preferences. You will see a greatnumber of options for text color, window color, etc.
