除了搜尋檔案的功能外，在設定內可以調整檔案的時間範圍、檔案大小，預設是整個區域網路的分享都會掃描，也可以指定單一的電腦，搜尋的深度也能指定，也就是所謂的資料夾深度，看要開啟幾層子資料夾來搜尋。若是 FTP 以網路磁碟的方式掛載，那麼也可以搜尋 FTP 內的檔案，因此也能算是 FTP 的檔案搜尋工具。
